Amy Goodman the host of Democracy Now arrested at the RNC

Democracy Now's anchorperson Amy Goodman was arrested outside the Republican National Convention after she went to find out what happened to her producers. The producers, Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar were arrested by the Minneapolis Police Department earlier. They were all charged with conspiracy to riot

During the protest, Donna Brazile, CNN political correspondent and former Democratic Presidential campaign manager was hit by pepper spray as she walked to the Xcel Center at the start of the Republican Convention. She was not arrested. The protests outside the convention center led to 56 arrests.
