Clear Channel spends more than a million dollars a month

Would you like to work for Clear Channel? Maybe you might consider being a lobbyist. Clear Channel spent $1.2 million in the second quarter on Washington lobbying.

Fight the Sirius XM merger had to be first on their list. WHAT else could they be lobbying for? Helping Congress to look the other way when they became a private company, relaxing the radio ownership rules, easing up on broadcast indecency rules, and working on greater diversity in ownership. Diversity? How about some diversity in programming Clear Channel? Let's see it's not just Steve Harvey and Keith Sweat all over the place, it's Rush Limbaugh and Ryan Seacrest who have Clear Channel owned Premiere Network syndicated deals too.
