Inspirational Talk is gone from WPGC AM
CBS Radio has pulled the plug on the "inspirational" talk format on WPGC-AM (1580) Washington, DC. CBS Radio has replaced it with a simulcast of WPGC 95.5 (It's sister FM station). Earlier this year CBS decided to cancel "Heaven 1580" the gospel music format following the rise in the ratings of "Praise 104.1" FM (WPRS) that was launched by Radio One in April of 2007.

I hope they keep the takeover w/ JT- that show was so interesting. Plus I know a lot of young people were touched by the real issues that were dealt with. Young Christians need inspiration from other young people who are trying to stay pure & live for Jesus. He dealt with issues like dating/ relationships & sex (things the church seems to be afraid to talk about) as well as playing really good music & having on a number of guests who are doing big things for the KINGDOM- what a great show!
