Sonny Hopson Returns to the Radio "Maka No Mistaka Jaka"

Sonny Hopson returned to the airwaves for one day on 900 AM WURD Philadelphia. The talk station usually goes to an all music format on the holidays and asked Hopson to bring his unique style back to the radio on New Year's Day.

"Soul Sound Sonny" or "The Mighty Burner" retired from 1340 WHAT and hasn't been on the air since 1986. Hopson is set to released a book this year called "The Untold Story." More on Sonny at his site WHTHMusic.com and an aircheck on our Black Radio History page.
