Atlanta TV Station Gets Rid of their Sports Staff for Radio Guys

The Two Lives Stews will be sports anchors for CBS 46

Sports Radio 790 The Zone (WQXI AM Atlanta) strikes a partnership with WGCL-TV CBS 46 for all local and national sports coverage. The Zone will provide all on-air content and hosts for the CBS Atlanta newscasts and original sports programming including Sportsline, the SEC Wrap-Up Show and the CBS Atlanta Dawg Show.

"For the last 13 years, 790 The Zone has been the brand for sports in Atlanta and we could not be more excited about this partnership with CBS Atlanta and their core sports properties including the NFL, SEC Football, March Madness and the Masters. This dynamic alliance will only strengthen our ability to connect to the Atlanta sports fan", said WQXI President Andrew Saltzman.

The Two Live Stews, along with other hosts on the station are slated to begin by January. Brothers Doug Stewart and Ryan Stewart are the afternoon hosts on the station and are syndicated through Sporting News Radio across the country.
