CBS Sunday Morning "Unemployment Stories" features St. Louis jocks Tony Scott and Tammy Holland
For the 15 million American still out of work, it is of little solace to them that they aren't alone, especially as the holidays quickly approach and the unemployment rate increases to 10%. As Seth Doane reports, many are on the job-hunt and those numbers are growing.
This story features a segment with Tony Scott and Tammy Holland of St. Louis' urban AC station Majic 104.9 (KMJM). This campaign for the jobless runs on many Clear Channel Radio stations. However few take time out to do an on air live resume feature during afternoon drive time. Why? Simply because on many Clear Channel radio stations afternoon drive as well as morning drive times are usually reserved for Steve Harvey, Tom Joyner or Michael Baisden. Kudos to Majic 104.9 for their community service.
