Rob Redding back "on the air" on 1380 WAOK Atlanta

Author, award-winning journalist and syndicated talk radio host Robert "Rob" Redding Jr. is scheduled to return to Atlanta's News & Talk 1380 WAOK-AM, the nation's No. 7 market for radio, on Sunday's from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. starting this weekend.

Redding, who is known as "America's Independent Voice," is bringing his syndicated radio show, "Redding News Review," to the WAOK, where he started his successful talk radio career almost a decade ago.

"Rob Redding was with WAOK when it was first introduced as a News and Talk Station back in 2001," said WAOK Operations Manager Jean Ross. "We welcome him back now as an award-winning journalist, and one of the most respected talk show hosts in this country. Atlanta, get ready to be educated, antagonized and entertained. The Redding News Review is back on News & Talk 1380 WAOK!"

"It's good to be home," Redding said. "I look forward to working with the talented management and staff at black America's most important talk radio station."

Redding will be in Atlanta at WAOK's "Car & Bike Show" on Saturday and will broadcast his show live from 255 Tapas Lounge on 255 Peters St. on Sunday from 7 to 10 p.m. ET.
