Rush Limbaugh, Michael Steele and "The Official Obama Criticizer, Bo Snerdley"

"...Bootylicious homegirl Michelle and your two shorties" "I thought it was highly inappropriate. It is stupid. It’s not something that furthers the conversation." - Michael Steele

There's a bit more dust-up between former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele and talk show host Rush Limbaugh over the "The Official Obama Critizer" bit after questioning on Rob Redding's Redding News Review talk show.

Redding asked Steele about the bit in which a "so-called staffer" at the Rush Limbaugh show, Bo Snerdley, gives an Ebonics translation for the hood criticizing President Obama.

Michael Steele responded to the bit by saying, “I thought it was highly inappropriate,” as told to Redding. “It is stupid. It’s not something that furthers the conversation.”

Here is the Ebonics bit and Limbaugh's response to Steele's comments: Please note how Limbaugh attempts to marginalize "DJ Hughley" and the "Redding News Service" from Redding, California

You may recall in 2009 Michael Steele criticized talk show host Rush Limbaugh when CNN's D.L. Hughley referred to radio host Rush Limbaugh as "the de facto leader of the Republican party."

Steele immediately responded, "No he's not. I'm the de facto leader of the Republican party." The RNC chief went on to call Limbaugh a mere "entertainer" whose show is "incendiary" and "ugly." A couple of days later an apology followed with this statement: "My intent was not to go after Rush - I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh. I was maybe a little bit inarticulate. ... There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership."

Will Michael Steele be offering an apology on this one as well?
