Janet G is the Midday Host at Old School 94.5

Radio One Dallas has hired veteran on-air personality Janet G as the midday host and first local personality at "Old School 94.5." She has worked in the Detroit, New Orleans, and Houston markets.

The station was known as "K-Soul" until last July when they dropped current R&B music in favor of R&B music from the 70's and 80's. In the process the station also shutdown the Michael Baisden show as well. The station also showed on-air host Dee Dee "Spinderella" Roper the door as well, but that was back in March.

Skip Murphy and Company, who ruled Dallas-Fort Worth mornings for several years on rival station K104 KKDA FM, announced the birth of Old School 94.5, so naturally listeners were expecting their return to the airwaves, if not in the mornings, then afternoons; however Skip Murphy and his crew have not surfaced on the air as of yet at Old School 94.5. The station features Tom Joyner in the morning.
