Michael Shawn Reunites with Jonesy on Power 99
Former 100.3 The Beat midday personality Michael Shawn has been taking on the role of co-host with his former partner Tarsha Jones aka "Miss Jones" aka "Jonesy" on WUSL Power 99 in Philadelphia. Although he has not officially joined the morning show at the station, he has made quite a few guest appearances over the last two weeks.
Shawn was let go in the wake of Radio One's transition of 100.3 The Beat into Hot 107.9. He joined "Jonesy in the Morning" in the mid 00's as part of the morning show on, at the time, WPHI 103.9 The Beat. Then the show moved on to New York, becoming a highly rated and controversial morning show on Hot 97 until 2008.
