The Wild Out of 102 Jamz Support for Trayvon Martin

The Wild Out Wake Up Show in Greensboro Launches a Campaign to Support Trayvon Martin

ToshaMakia of the Wild Out reports:
The death of Trayvon Martin, the young man gunned down by neighborhood crime watch captain, George Zimmerman, has very quickly become a worldwide  topic. Knowing that George Zimmerman is still a free man feels UNJUST!

Many celebrities, radio personalities, 9-5 working folks, children & seniors have all signed the petition at http://www.change.org/petitions/prosecute-the-killer-of-our-son-17-year-old-trayvon-martin to demand that George Zimmerman be arrested. This morning, The Wild Out Wake Up Show on 102 Jamz (Greensboro NC) has decided, to create a movement to show support for Trayvon Martin's family by sending EMPTY bags of Skittles to Sanford Police Chief, Bill Lee.

Trayvon did not have any weapons on him when the incident occured....All he had was a cell phone, a can of Iced Tea and a bag of Skittles in his possesion.  The EMPTY bags of Skittles being sent as a symbol of the emptiness that Trayvon's parents, family, friends, teachers & worldwide citizens feel from this unwarranted loss of life.

We are sending the EMPTY Skittles bags to:

          Police Chief Bill Lee
          Sanford Police Station
           815 West 13th Street
          Sanford, FL 32771

If you feel so inclined, please join us in this demonstration as we protest this injustice.

Thank You,

-Santillian & The Wild Out
