The Steve Harvey inspired movie: 'Think Like a Man' holds onto No. 1 spot

The Steve Harvey "Brand" Continues to Grow

After toppling The Hunger Games from its month-long No. 1 perch, Think Like a Man claimed the top spot again this weekend. The Steve Harvey comedy made $18 million, according to studio estimates from box-office tracking firm Hollywood.com. The encore weekend lifts the $12 million film's overall revenue to $60.9 million, more than twice what analysts anticipated. The real star of the film of course is Kevin Hart. In the [video] below he makes a surprise visit to movie theaters across the country showing the film. When was the last time you've seen an actor do post release promotion?

The message is clear: 'Think Like a Man' is not a Black film it's a film for everyone. There is a lesson in there somewhere for not just Hollywood, but for the entire media industry, based on the success of the film. BTW the message is NOT to syndicate the Steve Harvey Morning Show to every Urban Adult Contemporary radio station in the country.

Check out the lady that dips her hand into Kevin Hart's bag of popcorn!
