Tom Joyner Voices Concerns About the Upcoming Presidential Election
Correspondent April Ryan spoke with Artur Davis about his upcoming keynote speech at the Republican National Convention and answers the question if he thinks the black community is better off with Mitt Romney as president. Davis responds, "I don't judge policies based on how it affects one community."
After the interview Tom Joyner express his concerns about Artur Davis and the upcoming Presidential campaign.
Tom Joyner stated:
“The scary thing is that I think the (Obama) campaign believes that black people are going to show up at the polls and vote regardless.”
“These polls don’t tell the real story. The story is that black people are going to not vote at all thinking (Obama’s) going to win!”
“(Artur Davis) was bringing up points that I hear all the time ‘if you look at the Presidents record it doesn’t look good’; but my question STILL is will you be better off with a Republican than you are right now? Will we go backwards? He couldn’t, he wouldn’t answer that question!”
