The President Gets It- Nicki Minaj Did NOT Endorse Romney

She Thanked President Obama For Understanding Her Sarcastic Verse

Nicki Minaj caused a lot of controversy last week to some when it appeared she endorsed Mitt Romney in a song on Lil Wayne's Dedication 4 mixtape. President Barack Obama when asked about it repsonded this way:

"I'm not sure that's actually what happened," Obama said on Power 95.3's Obie and Lil Shawn Morning Show Orlando. "I think she had a song on there -- a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters, so I don’t know what’s going on there." Listen to the audio below:

Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do... *sends love & support*

Awesome! Now I can tell my grandchildren that the 1st black President of the United States took the time to address a Nicki Minaj question
