Spanish Broadcasting System Radio Stations Provide Full Coverage of Presidential Election

Providing the Most Comprehensive Radio Coverage for Spanish Speakers in Miami and South Florida

Radio stations owned by Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. in southern Florida, DJ106.7FM, El Zol 95.7FM, Z92.3FM and Cima 106.3FM Tuesday November 6, join the community of South Florida, from most important polling of our cities, where the Americans will come to choose the next president and vice president of the United States.


Coverage is led by the personalities of SBS Radio Miami: KMarie, Vic Mendez, Lady Gigi, "Jammin 'Johnny Caride," The Kitten "Betzy Vázquez, Luis Perozo, Laura Garcia, Ariel Ramirez, Albertico Rodriguez, Barbie Garcia Andy and Vera, who are reporting from the electoral center and in contact with the community about what is happening in this important day.

• WLBT anchor and meteorologist Barbie Bassett is no longer with the Jackson, Miss., NBC station after racially insensitive comments. In early March, Bassett was speaking with her fellow anchors on air about Snoop Dogg’s latest business venture, Snoop Cali Blanc, a new wine in his wine label. In response to a comment about putting a Snoop Dogg tattoo on her shoulder, Bassett said, “Fo shizzle, my nizzle.” Bassett is white. Charlamagne tha God defended Bassett as he discussed the situation on The Breakfast Club. “She might be old. She probably has no idea nizzle is a derivative of the N-word. That’s not a fireable offense. I hope she sues.”
