Wanda Smith is BACK at V-103 [VIDEO]

RCMS at V-103 with Mo Ivory, Ryan Cameron, and now Wanda Smith
Comedienne Wanda Smith has returned to CBS Radio's V-103 WVEE in Atlanta. She will join Ryan Cameron on the Ryan Cameron Morning Show at the station.

Wanda along with Frank Ski held down morning hosting duties at V-103 for 15 years. The duo left the station in December 2012. Meanwhile Frank Ski has moved on to WHUR in Washington, D.C. Wanda is being brought in to give a boost in ratings in key demographic areas.

Ryan Cameron was tapped to become the morning show host after a successful run as afternoon host at the station but ratings haven't been great. (His replacement, Big Tigger has done well ratings wise in the afternoon.) Former host Frank Ski and the station were unable to iron out a new deal thus ending his and Wanda Smith's association with the station. Anyone who had ever listened to the station over the years knew the move to bring Wanda Smith back needed to be made. "Frank and Wanda in the Morning" were the number one morning show in Atlanta radio for virtually every year they were on the air.

In the past Ryan Cameron would guest host in the mornings for a vacationing Frank Ski, and his chemistry with Wanda would just simply click. Another former member of the morning show, "Miss Sophia" was reportedly on the list to be re-added to the station as well. Those three together made for an entertaining and hilarious morning radio show. However Miss Sophia has decided to go with upstart Streetz 94.5. In December V-103 made changes in the RCMS by firing traffic reporter Crash Clark (who now does TV for 11 Alive WXIA) and entertainment reporter Kendra G. For now Mo Ivory remains with the show.
