Steph Lova Back in DC, Back at WPGC with The Joe Clair Morning Show

From WPGC.CBSlocal.com - After an exhaustive search, we are happy to announce Steph Lova is coming back to WPGC — joining Joe Clair and news director Guy Lambert weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m.!

Lova is no stranger to the DMV.

“We are excited to have her back in the WPGC family,” said Steve Davis, vice president of programming for CBS Washington and program director for WPGC 95.5. “Steph is a Howard graduate and has worked in D.C. for many years. Steph is the perfect fit with Joe.”

Lova started her radio career at WPGC-AM, Flava1580 and moved on to host the No. 1 night show at 93.9 (WKYS). She went on to co-host mornings at Hot 97 (WQHT) in New York City, and then host afternoon drive at Power 105.1 (WWPR).

She has also hosted Rap City (BET) as a field reporter, MTV2 Hip-Hop & Soul (MTV News) and guest judged on 106 & Park Countdown (BET). Lova is known for her signature raspy voice and has served as a side line reporter covering New York Knicks, New York Giants and New York Jets games.

“I’m more than ecstatic to be back home at WPGC 95.5,” Lova said. “I absolutely love the DMV and it feels amazing to be back on air with Joe Clair. I can’t wait to get started!”
