DJ Dimepiece Added On for Middays at 107.9 The Beat


107.9 The Beat in Lexington, Kentucky has added DJ Dimepiece to their midday lineup. PD Jay Alexander said, “I have known Dimepiece for a long-long time and watched her grow on the air to a personality that is one of the best in the country. She has name recognition here in the market from working in Cincinnati and Louisville. I know the community will embrace her with open arms.”

Dimepiece added, “Lexington are you ready?  I am so excited and looking forward to giving Lexington some Dime Time on 107.9 The Beat. It's Dime Time, baby." The new midday host has also worked in Nashville and Chicago markets and will be voicetracked following The Steve Harvey Morning Show on the station.

Sunday’s Iowa-Louisville NCAA women’s basketball tournament regional final averaged 2.5 million viewers, the largest audience for a women’s tournament game outside of the Final Four. That number is higher than any NBA game broadcast on ESPN this season. Record ratings are expected this weekend as Virginia Tech takes on LSU and Iowa goes up against the defending national champions South Carolina, coached by Dawn Staley in the NCAA Women's Final Four.
