LaDawn Black Joins FUBU Radio Now Streaming On The iHeartRadio App

Thought FUBU was just a 90's thing, well think again. Daymond John and his partners are restructuring the company and going all in by expanding their media presence through various platforms. Their expansion into iHeartRadio is a step in the right direction.

FUBU’s Internet-only Urban FUBU RADIO (HIP-HOP AND R&B) is now on the iHEARTRADIO NETWORK.
The station is based in the FUBU offices in NEW YORK.

COO/PD DEMETRIUS BROWN told ALL ACCESS, “Being in terrestrial radio for over 15 years, I’ve seen a lot of missed opportunities to connect to the Urban community on various platforms. iHEARTRADIO is a part of a  media company that continues to cultivate its platforms, and therefore FUBU RADIO has partnered with them to enhance our brand.

FUBO co-owners KEITH PERRIN, DAYMOND JOHN, CARL BROWN, and J. ALEXANDER MARTIN are currently working on restructuring the FUBU brand and have also launched FUBU MOBILE and FUBU TV too.”

PERRIN added, “As we climbed our listenership to almost half a million listeners, we were trying to figure out our next marketing strategy. The opportunity came from iHEARTMEDIA for FUBU RADIO to go up on the iHEARTRADIO NETWORK. As one of the largest platforms out here, I knew that partnering with iHEARTRADIO was a major step for us in the media world. I look forward to watching our station grow substantially as this platform will resonate with our consumers around the world.”

DAYMOND JOHN commented, “We’ve always tried to expand FUBU beyond our clothing brand into different areas and when KEITH came to me and told me he was starting FUBU RADIO, I thought it was a great idea. With iHEARTRADIO having such a huge platform with over 300 million listeners and FUBU with its fan base worldwide, I feel this will be great for both brands. We’ll be putting out a lot of great content and iHEARTRADIO is the right platform to expand our audience.”
