Rick and Sasha Morning Show with George Willborn Adds More Stations to Its Lineup

Fresh after announcing the key programming/executive additions of comedian George Willborn and “Smokin” Tony Richards, CUMULUS MEDIA’s Westwood One announces the nationally syndicated radio show Rick and Sasha is adding more stations to its lineup of 30 plus affiliates. The new additions include WGNU-AM/FM, St. Louis, MO; WMXU-FM, Columbus/Starkville, MS; WKZJ-FM, Columbus, GA; KVMA-FM, Shreveport, LA; WQVE-FM, Albany, GA and WBXB-FM, Norfolk DMA.

Geniece R. Granville, Vice President and General Manager of Davis Broadcasting, Inc. of Columbus said, “Rick and Sasha have been producing a consistent and well-run show from day one, and the early response has been very encouraging. What’s really impressive is that the whole team, Rick Party, Sasha the Diva, and George Willborn (pictured left) are all coming in for a market visit next month to help launch the show. Their entire operation is professional, customer friendly, and hard working. I am excited about the future of Urban AC radio!”

“So many exciting things are happening with the Rick and Sasha show, including the recent addition of George Wilborn, and with the addition of our new affiliates – you can literally feel this show taking off,” said Kenny Smoov, Vice President of Urban Programming, CUMULUS MEDIA. “The Urban AC format not only desperately needed something new and fresh, but it also needed a team that was willing to put in the work. The Rick and Sasha Show with George Willborn is poised to make an impactful and long-lasting run.”

The Rick and Sasha Show also airs in Atlanta, Kansas City, and New Orleans along with Columbia & Charleston South Carolina. We expect the number of affiliates to at least double by the end of the year.
