Patty Jackson of WDAS FM Visits Tony Brown

The picture above is from a few years ago before Tony Brown was no longer able to work in radio due to health reasons. Touchingly and with all respect, Patty Jackson, the midday host at 105.3 WDAS FM Philadelphia (She is also heard on other stations across the country through iHeartRadio) posted on social media her recent visit with her former co-worker, the legendary Tony Brown. The popular host was forced to retire from radio due to a stroke he suffered in 2018.

Brown was the long time host of "The Quiet Show" on WDAS, a show he became the host of in the Philly market at WUSL Power 99 FM. Tony Brown began his professional career in radio at WDAS FM as the host of a popular show called "The Extrasensory Connection" in the mid 1970's that ran from 10 p.m. to 2 p.m. When WDAS and Power 99 became owned the same company in the early 90's, Brown returned to WDAS and brought "The Quiet Storm" with him.

We asked that you support Tony and his wife Sunshine. He is truly missed.
