Radio One Philadelphia and MyPhillyLawyer Honor Local Heroes with the “Salute on the Front Line” Campaign Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

Radio One Philadelphia announced today a partnership with MyPhillyLawyer to give back to front line workers of the COVID-19 pandemic. The “Salute on the Front Line” campaign features video tributes and special lunch deliveries to men and women nominated by members of the community.

Listeners of Hip-Hop 103.9 FM, Classix 107.9 FM, 100.3 RnB FM, and Praise 107.9 HD2 will have an opportunity to submit video tributes to the radio stations highlighting the work and contribution of friends or family members who are essential workers in the Philadelphia area. The radio stations will feature the videos, and each day, Radio One and MyPhillyLawyer will have lunch delivered to the workplace of the honorees to thank them and their co-workers for their service.

“These people put themselves on the front line daily,” said MyPhillyLawyer’s Dean Weitzman. “They are everyday heroes who deserve to be recognized and celebrated for what they do.

”The “Salute on the Front Line” tribute opportunity will run weekdays through June 7, 2020.

“It is imperative for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes who are on the front lines every day holding our community together,” said Paris Nicole, Hip Hop 103.9 Mid-Day Personality and Program Director.

Ezio Torres, Radio One Philadelphia Station General Manager, added, “This partnership with MyPhillyLawyer recognizes not only the front line workers who immediately come to mind, but also those who work in the grocery stores and drug stores, along with the delivery drivers, postal workers,SEPTA personnel, and many others.
