Former K-104 Personality CoCo Budda Has Passed Away


Ricardo Royal who was known as CoCo Budda to radio listeners  has died reportedly from a heart attack. He was the longtime imaging voice for K-104 Dallas (KKDA-FM). During the 1990s he was a part of the K-104 mixing “Tight at Night Crew.”

Budda was an original member of the syndicated “The Doug Banks Show” show on ABC Radio with DeDe McGuire. (She shared the news along with Headkrack on social media) CoCo Budda was also a popular rapper known throughout Texas from Dallas to Houston. He collaborated on records with UGK and others.
