Charlamagne Still Has Beef with Lakeith Stanfield: Says He Feels Stanfield was Born to Play FBI Informant in 'Judas and the Black Messiah'

In a recent interview (above) Charlamagne asked Daniel Kaluuya if he looked at co-star Lakeith Stanfield differently because he played the role (the FBI informant in the recent movie Judas and the Black Messiah) too well. Stanfield responded to this particular part of the interview with a since deleted comment on Instagram.

(Edited and Updated Post: 2/22/21)

Stansfield posted a now deleted Instagram and Tik Tok showing a gun being pointed at a picture of Charlamagne on a laptop:

------------------ Original post continues:

“Hoes,” he wrote. “This is what hoes do. Get sonned by the reality. Get off me bro u a lame. Daniel ain’t an idiot. Leave me be dog and find somebody else @cthagod.”

Their beef goes back to November 2019 when Charlamagne named Stanfield Donkey of the Day for comments about The Breakfast Club and other social media websites.

More news...On Sunday 107.5 WBLS weekend host LaDawn Black announced she was moving on to a new opportunity and leaving the station. Black made a surprise return to radio this week at her old stomping grounds as a guest host on The AM Clique Morning Show this week on 92Q (WERQ-FM Baltimore). LaDawn hosted the very popular night show 'The Love Zone' until 2013 when she moved over to sister Adult R&B station Magic 95.9 as midday host.

iHeart's Power 99 (WUSL-FM Philadelphia) midday host Cappuchino exits the station. She's been with the station since 2012. 'Way Up with Angela Yee' is now heard on Power 99 as one of the 30 affiliates that carry the syndicated program across the country.

Questlove went to Instagram to celebrate the word “jawn” being recognized as an official word in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. The dialectic term is native to his hometown. In Philadelphia and Eastern PA, “jawn” evolved as a variant of “joint,” originally denoting a place. “Jawn” has been used to describe almost anything that one need not or cannot give a specific name to. Suddenly jawn has become not cool to use.
