In the latest clip on Vlad TV, LA Reid revealed that he signed TLC and Toni Braxton in the same month. Shortly afterward, the music executive ended up signing Outkast and Usher within the same month. He continued by naming Outkast as his favorite act of all time and described signing them despite not knowing much about Hip Hip at the time.

He also revealed that Prince tried talking him out of selling LaFace to go run Arista. Despite finding success with Pink, Avril Lavigne, and Ciara, he was still fired from the label and received another call from Prince not long after his dismissal.
