Billy Sorrells Exits The Morning Hustle

Billy Sorrells has exited the Urban One/Reach Media syndicated morning show "The Morning Hustle." The show will continue with lead host HeadKrack along with Angie Ange and Lore'l.

Radio One D.C. originally launched The Morning Hustle as a local morning show on 93.9 WKYS-FM in Washington, D.C. with Angie Ange as lead host in 2019. With the impending retirement of Tom Joyner, Rickey Smiley transitioned to the Urban AC format and The Morning Hustle was launched nationally in January 2020 on Urban One Hip Hop stations with the addition of Headkrack from the RSMS and Sorrells. Radio and media personality On-Air Jordan (also known as Shorty Da Prince) an original member of the show at WKYS remained with the syndicated version of the show until August of 2020.

Radio veteran Yonni Rude joined the program as executive producer in March. No word yet if The Morning Hustle will replace Sorrells.
