Ben Simmons No Show at Training Camp: KRON4 Sports Anchor Jason Dumas Calls Out 97.5 The Fanatic Mike Missanelli for Capping

Today is Media Day across the NBA as teams introduce their new and returning players to their fans via media interviews and photo sessions. However one team, the Philadelphia 76ers will have one key player missing. That player is Ben Simmons who will not be reporting to the team amid trade rumors throughout the off season.

In fact trade rumors and Simmons' next destination or lack thereof has been the number one story during the NBA off season. Sports talk show host Mike Missanelli of 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia has had enough of the rumors and the takes on social media and sports blogs. He went on an epic rant in earshot of his producer Tyrone Johnson on a number of sports reporters including...  JASON DUMAS!!! WHOEVER HE IS?

His rant was directed towards KRON4 San Francisco Bay Area sports anchor Jason Dumas. Now why would Dumas have any relevant information regarding Ben Simmons?

Dumas is well connected to the situation with Simmons and his agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports. He's been pretty accurate with the NBA news and information he tweets out on the NBA . (However the idea of organized groups booing Ben Simmons at training camp seems a little far-fetched even for Philly fans.).

Dumas went to Twitter and said Misanelli knows who he is and accused him of capping. Dumas as it turns out says he worked as a summer intern at a sports station Missanelli was working at while he was in college.

Dumas was born and raised in Philadelphia who just so happens to work in San Francisco and grew up a Sixers fan. Dumas was in Philadelphia last week to cover the Eagles vs. 49ers football game.

Do we have to explain what capping is?
