Bow Wow Has Beef with Big Tigger for Hyping Up Eagles Fans on Sunday's Falcons Game in Atlanta

Are there tears in his eyes? The Philadelphia Eagles put a stomping on the Atlanta Falcons to the tune of 32 to 6 in the NFL season opener for both teams. The Atlanta team only managed to score two 3 point field goals. This allowed PA announcer Ryan Cameron (afternoon personality on Majic 107.5/97.5) to eek out his signature call of "threeeeee" on the first half field goals. That was pretty it for the Atlanta fans to cheer about. All and all the Eagles dominated the game and the Falcons fans were not too happy.

One fan, rapper Bow Wow was not only disappointed in his team, but also in the in-stadium DJ. That DJ was V-103 morning host Big Tigger. He played Meek Mill songs after it was pretty clear that the Eagles were going to win the game. With the stadium filled with Eagles fans and with the Falcons fans leaving early, anyone would say Big Tigger read the room and was pretty smart to play songs that played to the crowd. It's what a good DJ does!

Also chiming in were fans at the game. Eagles fans who travel well and by all accounts took over Mercedes Benz Stadium.

But never count out Raiders fans... LOL

Tavis Smiley owned Los Angeles talk station KBLA Talk 1580 donated $20,000 in scholarship money to the NABJLA and MPJI. Smiley says, “The National Association of Black Journalists of Los Angeles and the Minority Photo-Journalism Institute are making a tangible difference in our community by helping students pursue careers in journalism and communications. KBLA ‘Talk 1580’ strongly believes in enlightening, empowering and encouraging tomorrow’s reporters, editors and potential talk radio hosts. Hopefully, our scholarships make a difference.”

• WLBT anchor and meteorologist Barbie Bassett is no longer with the Jackson, Miss., NBC station after racially insensitive comments. In early March, Bassett was speaking with her fellow anchors on air about Snoop Dogg’s latest business venture, Snoop Cali Blanc, a new wine in his wine label. In response to a comment about putting a Snoop Dogg tattoo on her shoulder, Bassett said, “Fo shizzle, my nizzle.” Bassett is white. Charlamagne tha God defended Bassett as he discussed the situation on The Breakfast Club. “She might be old. She probably has no idea nizzle is a derivative of the N-word. That’s not a fireable offense. I hope she sues.”
