Philly Suburban New Jersey Station WIFI Flips to Hip Hop as 92.9 Jamz Featuring DeDe in the Morning

Ritmo Broadcasting launches Jamz 92.9, a new Urban Hip Hop station on 1460 WIFI-AM Florence, NJ and its FM translator 92.9 W225DJ in Burlington, NJ. The station will feature DeDe In The Morning in the morning drive slot. No other on air hosts have been named as of yet.

The stations are assigned to two South Jersey towns near Philadelphia, but the likelihood they would attract any listeners in Philly is unlikely due to the signal's limited reach. They are a part of the Trenton, New Jersey radio market.

The call letters of the AM station WIFI were once associated with a popular Top 40 FM station many years ago in Philadelphia known as WIFI 92 long before anything called the internet or wifi were invented... wonder if the owners were ever approached or offered a handsome sum to sell the call letters that spell out wi-fi???
