Michael B. Jordan is 'Corny' According to Dominique Da Diva and Not Lore'l and Says, “We Should Not Let Social Media Sensationalize Things”

Dominique da Diva joined Good Day DC to share how her Michael B. Jordan "corny" comment went viral over the weekend and where it came from. She also discussed the comment on her own show with DJ QuickSilva that's heard locally in Washington, D.C. on 93.9 WKYS and other Radio One stations.

Below is the Creed III red carpet interview that Lore'l of the syndicated 'The Morning Hustle' conducted with Jordan that caused the viral sensation. From the start she said it was not her that ever said he was corny.

Lore'l admits Michael B. Jordan was made fun of for carrying around his headshot back in the day at school (Chad Science Academy in Newark, NJ) and for his name being "Michael Jordan." Soon after Jordan landed the role of 'Wallace' in HBO's The Wire.

[Updated post on 3/4/23: Lore'l spoke to TMZ to clarify and address the backlash she had been receiving since the red carpet interview.]

[Lore'l and Michael B. Jordan attended school together for only one year.] Original post continues below.

Is there a lesson here? (Is Lore'l owed an apology?) Pretty much everyone believed Jordan's red carpet comment and that he was calling out Lore'l... But she handled it like a pro and proceeded with the interview.
