'Way Up with Angela Yee' Set to Launch Nationwide on iHeart Stations

iHeartMedia and its syndication company Premiere Networks is set to launch “Way Up with Angela Yee” as a national midday show on Monday, February 6. The show will also be available on a podcast after airing live from 10a-2pm ET. Last August was when Angela Yee set the Twitterverse on fire when she announced that “The Breakfast Club” as we know it would no longer exist.

Many thought she was signaling that the iconic morning show was coming to an end. However, she announced the next day with her co-hosts, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, that she was leaving the show after 12 years.

This week the show aired exclusively on Power 105.1 in New York City with blogger Jasmine Brand as co-host. Meanwhile The Breakfast Club has yet to name a replacement for Yee with a whole lists of Celebrity and multi-media stars from Jason Lee to Nene Leakes to Eboni K. Williams. It's most likely none of these hosts will be named as Yee's replacement. The next host (if there is ever going to be one) won't fill that chair until April 2023.

One of the affiliates slated to air 'Way Up' is 106 Jamz in Norfolk from 10am to 2pm.
