Headkrack Delivers the Best "I'm No Longer with the Radio Show" Monologue in Radio History; Tells Why He's Not With 'The Morning Hustle"

Media personality Headkrack is no longer a part of 'The Morning Hustle' morning show. The syndicated show is distributed by Reach Media/Radio One. As reported earlier, his exit from the show was a mutual parting of the ways with management. (Didn't think we would be posting another Headkrack story so soon.)

But there's more to the story. Wait for it.

In his monologue, Headkrack told no lies. What we sensed from the beginning seemed to be the case when the show was launched in 2020. He's a talented performer that was never really given the reigns to lead the show in a way of how he had envisioned it. Therefore, after three years, and 22 years with the company Radio One, things came to an end.

We generally thought of Headkrack to be a really good dude, who always gave this site a shoutout when we joined his Morning Hustle Live. Have our paths ever crossed? Not at all in person. But that's just the kind of person he is.

Truth be told, we saw Headkrack as the glue that held not only The Rickey Smiley Show down, but also the celebrity news TV show Dish Nation. (Headkrack by the way still hosts Dish Nation.) When Rickey Smiley transitioned to become the replacement for Tom Joyner, he also lost Headkrack to The Morning Hustle. It's been well documented that Rickey Smiley was not doing so well with the former fans of the Tom Joyner Morning Show. We truly believe with Headkrack not being along side played a part in Smiley's rough start as a syndicated Adult R&B/Urban AC radio host.

As you carefully listen to this monologue, always be aware of the b*a*n's. Because they will edit what you have to say. Headkrack sets the record straight.

Disney is said to have paid over $10 million to show ‘The Little Mermaid’ starring Halle Bailey ad during the 2023 Oscars telecast on ABC-TV last week according to IndieWire. ABC is a property of Disney and basically paid money to itself. “Actual money actually changed hands,” Indiewire reported, with a source saying the media companies are generally treated like “church and state.”

Greg Gumbel, the in studio host of NCAA College basketball's March Madness on CBS, is stepping away from his play-by-play announcing gig on NFL broadcasts. At CBS, he hosted The NFL Today from 1990-1993. He joined NBC after CBS lost the NFC games to Fox. In 1998, Gumbel returned to CBS for NFL coverage as a play-by-play announcer, studio host in 2004 and 2005, and returning to calling NFL games since 2006. Greg Gumbel, 76, is the older brother of Bryant Gumbel.

Josh Inness has joined Classic Rock station “KSHE 95” 94.7 FM in St. Louis to host afternoons. He most recently hosted mornings on iHeartMedia’s “105.9 The Rock” Nashville, a show that was syndicated to Detroit and Memphis. A former sports talk host known for his controversial takes, Inness said on Twitter recently, "I don’t want to do sports radio every day. I don’t like the vibe of it. It’s largely miserable."

In 2016 he got fired at a Philadelphia sports station (WIP) for posting a picture of black face vaudeville performer Al Jolson to call out rival station's (97.5 The Fanatic) bit where a white producer was imitating a fake black caller (named "Dee-Wayne") filled with every stereotypical characteristics he could think of. That producer still works at that station on the morning show. Inness gained support from Bomani Jones. >> “Dwayne From Swedesboro” Riles Up Philly Radio.
