Shaila Scott is Back On New York Radio and On The Block
Shaila Scott and 94.7 The Block (WXBK-FM) announce that the on-air personality is returning to the New York radio airwaves this week as she sits in for the vacationing Ed Lover at 7pm. Scott exited 107.5 WBLS officially as midday personality in June 2022. She had not been heard on WBLS since May. Non-compete clauses usually prevent radio hosts for up to six months or more from returning to an on-air position in the same market. So it is a bit surprising to hear that her fans over the last 30 years at WBLS and the former 98.7 Kiss FM are able to listen to her hosting in New York City once again. 94.7 The Block has not announced where you can hear Scott after this week.
Shaila known as “New York’s Sweetheart” said on IG, “Super excited about holding it down @947theblock this week starting tomorrow for @edlover 7-10pm Come hang out with me 🎙🎧Can’t Wait!!”
